Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Carnaxide Games LLC ("Carnaxide Games", "we", "us") handles information in the games and apps we publish, free or paid, on Google Play, the Apple App Store and elsewhere. It currently covers:

• Battle Shape

• Inkgrid: Nonogram Puzzles

• Knight Adventure

and any future game that links to this page.

We do not run servers that store player accounts, game progress or personal information. Most of what is described below is collected by the third-party services our games use, under their own privacy policies.

Information stored on your device

Your game progress, your settings, and the record of any purchase (such as "Remove Ads") are saved only on your device. They are not sent to us. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your device settings, deletes them.

Third-party services

Depending on the game, we may use the following services. Each one collects information as described in its own privacy policy.

• Google AdMob (advertising), with Google's User Messaging Platform for the consent form: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

• Google Play Billing (in-app purchases): https://policies.google.com/privacy

• Google Analytics for Firebase (usage analytics, only in games that use it): https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Advertising

Some of our games show ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, device type and operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with ads.

• Personalized ads are shown only where you have given consent where the law requires it (for example, in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland). Without consent, you see non-personalized ads.

• You can change your ad consent at any time with the Privacy options button in the game's settings.

• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device's settings (on Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads; on iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).

• Buying "Remove Ads", where a game offers it, removes interruptive ads. Optional ads you choose to watch for a reward may still be available.

Analytics

In games that use Google Analytics for Firebase, and only for users 13 and older, we may collect device information, app usage data and anonymized identifiers to understand how the game is played and to improve it. We do not use this data to identify you.

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your payment details. We receive only confirmation that a purchase was made, so that the game can unlock it.

Crash and log data

If a game crashes or hits an error, the app store or the services above may collect diagnostic data such as device model, operating system version, app version and the error details. We use it only to fix problems.

Children

Our games are not directed at children under 13. Some of our games ask your age. If you tell such a game you are under 13 (or under the age of digital consent where you live), the game turns off analytics, shows only non-personalized ads, and collects no personally identifiable information, in line with COPPA and the GDPR. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in Europe or state privacy laws such as the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising.

• We do not sell your personal information. Personalized advertising by AdMob may count as "sharing" under some US state laws. You can opt out through the in-game Privacy options button or your device's ad settings, as described above.

• Because we do not store your data on our own servers, most requests are best handled by deleting the game's data on your device, or by contacting the third-party service directly. You can also email us and we will help.

Data retention

We do not retain personal information on our own systems. Third-party services retain data according to their own policies, linked above.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we release a new game or add a service. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
